Pilates Core & Pelvic Floor 4 Week course
Any woman can benefit from this fantastic 4-week course to better understand and strengthen the core and pelvic floor. However, if you’re in your 40s or 50s, this course is especially designed with you in mind.
As we age, our bodies and physical structure naturally change. This means that what may have worked for us in the past may not necessarily work in the same way as we move through different stages of life.
Over these four weeks, we’ll use practical Pilates techniques to help improve pelvic floor function, develop deeper core awareness, and create greater strength and control from within.
These are active classes, with some workshop-style techniques woven throughout.
The key hormones in the body that naturally decline as we age
What are Bandhas (energy locks)
The role of the pelvic floor from a spiritual understanding, and the essence this holds.
How to work with changes in muscle tone deep within the body and support better muscular strength and structure
How to isolate and activate different muscle groups
How to perform exercises correctly to improve core control and access deeper muscles
What to be mindful of as we age and how to exercise in ways that may help reduce the risk of injury and pelvic floor issues, including prolapse
YES — you’re still going to get a good workout in this 4-week program! 😊
We hope you’ll join us as we redefine what it means to have a strong, connected core, a supported pelvic floor, and confidence in your body as you age. 🙏
