Hi, I am Lauren, and I invite you into this sacred space nestled in the heart of Tallebudgera, lovingly hand-built for women to reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and the deeper rhythms of nature.
At The Movement Shala, we specialise in the practice of yoga (and strength based Pilates classes), both on and off the mat. My aim is to reconnect women with this beautiful practice and way of life.
I am passionate about helping women move through life with steadiness and ease (Sthira & Sukham), reduce cortisol, balance hormones, and gain strength and flexibility without depleting the body.
From 40 onwards, our energy, our bodies, and our minds begin to shift gears. This is a time when we are asked to replenish ourselves, love ourselves, and let go of who we once were so we can move into the next stage of life with wisdom, strength, and flexibility.
Our classes are infused with intention — each one is carefully structured rather than simply created on the spot. Every practice is designed to honour the cyclical nature of the cosmos, both internally and externally, and your connection to it all.
This is not just movement — it’s a remembrance. A return to your natural state of balance, vitality, and inner peace. Here, you are invited to slow down, tune in, and move from a place of deep awareness and devotion.
