Hi, I am Lauren, and welcome to this very sacred space nestled in the heart of Tallebudgera, lovingly hand-built for women to reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and the deeper rhythms of nature.
At The Movement Shala, we specialise in our love and understanding of the practice of Yoga, on and off the mat. My aim is to reconnect women to this beautiful practice and way of life.
I am passionate about helping women move through life with a steadiness and ease (Sthira & Sukham), reduce cortisol, balance hormones, gain strength & flexibility through the practice of Yoga, Pranayama & Core/Pilates classes.
From 40 onwards, our energy, our bodies and our minds, start to shift gears. Here we are asked to replenish ourselves, love ourselves and also let go of who we were, so we can move to the next stage with a sense of wisdom, strength and flexibility.
Our classes are infused with intention - each class is carefully structured and not just thrown together on the spot. Each practice is designed to honour the cyclical nature of the cosmo's, internally and externally, and yourself as an extension of this.
This is not just movement—it’s a remembrance. A return to your natural state of balance, vitality, and inner peace. Here, you are invited to slow down, tune in, and move from a place of deep awareness and devotion.
